Staff Management SMX has a great direct hire opportunity with growth potential for a Process Manufacturing Engineer in Arkadelphia, AR with an industry leading & global manufacturing company.


You will:



+ Maintain the current process in an on-going state of readiness for production.


+ Evaluate existing processes and systems to identify opportunities for cost-savings, process enhancements and other improvements.


+ Work with equipment designers and manufacturers to streamline processes and ensure consistency throughout.


+ Perform raw materials testing, collect and record data, prepare samples for study and issue reporting documents.


+ Maintain and document all processes in such a way as to insure safety and product quality.


+ Adhere to safe concepts and practices and consider ergonomics in applications and process designs


+ Follow all procedures as it relates to documentation control and communication responsibilities (MCC) and the development of robust processes (PFMEA)


+ Assist maintenance with trouble shooting problems and floor support


+ Support Quality, Cost, Delivery, Labor Targets for Mfg. Engineering activities


+ Provide Mfg. Engineering plans, schedules, and execution of projects to support new products

We're looking for:



+ Minimum 5 years professional/working experience in a maintenance/manufacturing engineering field is required.


+ Excellent oral and written skills, required.


+ Must have experience with Microsoft Suite activities: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.


+ Experience with Minitab (statistical analysis software)


+ Must have 3 years of Mechanical and Electrical experience, required.


+ Experience with CNC, PLC, High-Speed Automated Assembly equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, and Servo controlled devices is strongly desired.


+ Prior leadership experience is preferred.


+ Support DPP initiative plan throughout the facility.


+ Excellent attendance record.
